The Democrat Party’s Racist History Unearthed

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

(Hat tip to Lancelhoff for assistance rendered on posting)

I had the privilege of interviewing Frances Rice for my radio show in 2008. For those unfamiliar, Dr. Rice chairs the National Black Republican Association. As such, she easily ranks as one of America’s foremost apologists for conservative matters. She has actually managed to outdo herself with her latest work, entitled “In Commemoration of Juneteenth – The Celebration of Black Freedom”. In the article,(Click here to read), Dr. Rice takes the reader on a systematic and devastating tour of the history of the Democrat Party in America, a party established, defined, and perpetuated by its support of and for slavery and segregation. For example:

Southern Democrats passed discriminatory Black Codes in 1865 to suppress, restrict, and deny
blacks the same privileges as whites. The Codes forced blacks to serve as apprentices to their
former slave masters.
In 1866, the Ku Klux Klan was started by Democrats to lynch and terrorize Republicans, black and
white, and the Ku Klux Klan became the terrorist arm of the Democratic Party.

Undaunted, Democrats passed discriminatory Jim Crow Laws in 1875 to restrict the rights of blacks to
use public facilities. In response, Republicans passed the Civil Rights Act of 1875 which prohibited
racial discrimination in public facilities.
Shamefully, Democrats fought against anti-lynching laws, and when the Democrats regained control
of Congress in 1892, they passed the Repeal Act of 1894 that overturned civil right laws enacted by
Republicans.

One could safely venture that the majority of Americans are unaware of this history, or, would attribute it to conservatives and/or the Republican Party, proving Churchill’s assertion that “History is writtenby the victors”. The Democrat victory comes in the form of dominance of the academy by its liberal members, who dominate the teaching and journalism professions. This legacy of misinformation will be countered by the efforts of people like Dr. Rice and Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby. If the national Republican Party is serious about winning elections again, it would do well to enlist Dr. Rice as a spokesperson.

Patrick Ruffini’s Suggests How Right Can Get “Right” On-Line

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ruffini in Washington, D.C. a couple of weeks ago. My takeaway from the event: I need to use my blog as a catalyst for activism and news breaking versus plain old punditry. This article merits attention.

Sarah Palin Rumors Addressed Yet Again (Sigh)

Monday, September 8th, 2008

This is obviously going to be a tedious and fervid sprint to the finish line (election day 2008, November 4). I am on the receiving end of all kinds of Palin rumors. Doug Welch of Stix Blog fame has graciously begun to address some of them, and I feel it right to help spread this word.

My Interview with Frances Rice – Superb

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Last night’s interview with Dr. Rice was superb. She is an unabashed advocate of American greatness and values. If John McCain wants to inspire the conservative base of his party and of America, he would do well to give Dr. Rice a front and center spot in his campaign. Dr. Rice, for those who don’t know, is chair of the National Black Republican Association. For those of you who missed her appearance, the show is available for download by clicking here. Special thanks to my co-host, Chad Everson of Grizzly Groundswell fame. For those of you looking for some more, Dr. Rice has consented to make another appearance on the program in mid-August. Stay tuned.

All the King’s Horses and All the King’s Men – Part 2

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

It appears that Mr. Ognonowski’s bid to secure a spot in the Republican Primary for a U.S. Senate seat is for naught!! ( See May 20th posting for original article). If so, it speaks volumes to the utter lack of discipline and focus within the so-called Massachusetts Republican Party. The final act of this saga will not play itself out with certainty until June 3rd. However, ceteris paribus, Ogonowski missed a golden opportunity to capture a Massachusetts Congressional seat for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

All the Kings Horses….. – Ogonowski on the Ropes??????

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

It appears that James Ogonowski’s bid to face John Kerry for one of two United States Senate seats from Massachusetts may be in jeopardy. According to a recent Boston Globe article, the Ogonowski campaign may fall short in its efforts to obtain the signatures requisite to appear on the GOP Primary ballot.  According to this same article, the campaign of Jeff Beatty, also a candidate for the United States Senate seat held by John Kerry, has obtained in excess of 17000 certified signatures, or close to DOUBLE the minimum threshold. In the event that Ogonowski indeed fails to make the ballot, portions of the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme will echoe as follows: “All the king’s horses, and all the king’s men failed to achieve their objective, yet again.” This truth will out once and for all on May 27th; stay tuned.
