If the election is held today, McCain-Palin is going to get SMOKED in Virginia. However, the election is not held today, and according to the latest reputable poll from Suffolk University’s David Paleologos, there is a silver lining. It comes in the form of conflicting results from the two bellweather localities. To speak with Dave live, tune in to Patriot Games Radio on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 7 PM EST and listen to David explain the results and the internals.

According to the folks at The American Spectator, the Flim-Flam Man’s campaign fundraising leaves something to be desired. Something like… integrity, ethics, and adherence to the law. Let’s us not forget that Obama originally endorsed publicly financed campaigns. Of course, that was only for other candidates not himself. Specifically, an FEC analyst suggests that as much as $200,000,000 in illegal funds are sluicing into the Obama campaign’s coffers. Don’t hold your breath waiting for anyone from Justice/FEC to act.

Another “friends in low places” problem for the Flim-Flam man, Senator Barack H. Obama of Illinois. This time, the name to watch is one “Larry Walsh“, a so-called poker buddy and political confidante to the Illinois Senator. Political confidante as in beneficiary of millions of dollars earmarks bestowed by the fairy-dust king. I had no idea that Chicago, Illinois is home to so many “colorful” individuals. Perhaps Tony Rezko will have some company now.

Not being a foreign policy expert myself, the following stumble (alleged) went completely over my head. If true however, it falls to we the people to disseminate the facts. Read and respond.

The Patriot Games Radio profile in courage award goes to… US Congressman Artur Davis (D-AL). He alone among politicians in general, but certainly amongst Democrats has acknowledged HIS own failures w/respect to the financial problems now challenging the nation. I can’t say that the recently passed Senate version of the “bailout-rescue” bill is acceptable to this writer. However, Congressman Davis is to be commended for being man enough to admit HIS shortcomings in this matter. Would that other politicians would follow suit, they might find the American public less cynical of and hostile to “government”. I have a special suggestion for Artur Davis – rid the nation of Nancy Pelosi and run for Speaker of the House of Representatives (assuming Republicans don’t regain control).

Sarah Palin’s multi-faceted appeal to the electorate (conservatives included) includes her authenticity, her instincts, her ambition and tenacity. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see those qualities on display; the consultants and handlers are “cramming” it out of her. She, like Ronald Reagan in 1984, is overcoached. Notwithstanding the fact that the media are shamelessly attempting to dry-hump Barack Obama into office, it is imperative that the McCain team allow Palin to be Palin. Let her answer questions in the context of her core beliefs, values and sense of right and wrong. To do otherwise is to turn her into something she is not which serves no-one.

The September 25, 2008 edition of Patriot Games Radio was, in a word, OUTSTANDING.
Led off the proceedings with Gerard Baker, the US Editor of the Times OnLine/Times of London. Discussed Obama, McCain, Palin, Islam and its influence on European society, and the contours of an American financial bailout plan.
Showcased the center-right movie An American Carol, which provides a mirthful Pro-American outlook to viewers.
The talk turned toward the Hillarycrats and their increasing dismay with Barack Obama. Clips and interviews played included Bill Clinton, Lynn Forester deRothschild, and TruthTeller . Truthteller resides in the battleground state of Ohio and described potential voter fraud on the part of the secretary of state. Talk then moved to Obama, Chicago corruption, Rezko,Stroger,Wright and Fleger. We will have TruthTeller back for another session; he has too much information to share and we ran out of time to absorb it all.
New caller Malcolm 34 greatly enhanced the conversation.

Apparently, Rolling Stone Magazine is ramping up its “Dry Hump for Obama” efforts. According to a Michelle Malkin posting, Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi has belched forth an offal-laiden “article” entitled “The Lies of Sarah Palin.” Simply stated, it’s nothing more than an “ad-hominem” attack, which is in fact one of the lowest forms of expression. The rub here is this particular edition of the “magazine” is being distributed to non-subscribers. You can read the full Monty here, but the bottom line is: should you receive a copy, write “REFUSED” across the front of it in LARGE letters and place it in the nearest US Postal unit, including your own mailbox. It will be returned to the sender who will also be charged for the return postage.

Tony Blankley reiterates what many of us already know: the “media” are actively engaged in a campaign to elect Barack Obama as president. These “celebralists” have already relinquished their objectivity and skepticism. Instead, they have largely become partisans, advocates and cheerleaders in the process. Methinks there is a media-inspired backlash looming. The battlecry for 2008 reverberates: Annoy the media; vote McCain-Palin

According to Associated Press Writer Andrew Taylor, Congressional (House,Senate) Democrats will allow the bans on off-shore oil drilling off America’s coasts to expire. Admittedly, the AP could be wrong; time will tell. Nonetheless, if true, this is an AMAZING victory for drilling advocates (the GOP). The devil will be in the details of course, and it will perhaps be painful to assess the true costs of this apparent capitulation. Apparently, being in the minority ain’t so bad after all.
