According to Associated Press Writer Andrew Taylor, Congressional (House,Senate) Democrats will allow the bans on off-shore oil drilling off America’s coasts to expire. Admittedly, the AP could be wrong; time will tell. Nonetheless, if true, this is an AMAZING victory for drilling advocates (the GOP). The devil will be in the details of course, and it will perhaps be painful to assess the true costs of this apparent capitulation. Apparently, being in the minority ain’t so bad after all.

Last night’s interview with Dr. Rice was superb. She is an unabashed advocate of American greatness and values. If John McCain wants to inspire the conservative base of his party and of America, he would do well to give Dr. Rice a front and center spot in his campaign.
