The Democrat Party’s Racist History Unearthed

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

(Hat tip to Lancelhoff for assistance rendered on posting)

I had the privilege of interviewing Frances Rice for my radio show in 2008. For those unfamiliar, Dr. Rice chairs the National Black Republican Association. As such, she easily ranks as one of America’s foremost apologists for conservative matters. She has actually managed to outdo herself with her latest work, entitled “In Commemoration of Juneteenth – The Celebration of Black Freedom”. In the article,(Click here to read), Dr. Rice takes the reader on a systematic and devastating tour of the history of the Democrat Party in America, a party established, defined, and perpetuated by its support of and for slavery and segregation. For example:

Southern Democrats passed discriminatory Black Codes in 1865 to suppress, restrict, and deny
blacks the same privileges as whites. The Codes forced blacks to serve as apprentices to their
former slave masters.
In 1866, the Ku Klux Klan was started by Democrats to lynch and terrorize Republicans, black and
white, and the Ku Klux Klan became the terrorist arm of the Democratic Party.

Undaunted, Democrats passed discriminatory Jim Crow Laws in 1875 to restrict the rights of blacks to
use public facilities. In response, Republicans passed the Civil Rights Act of 1875 which prohibited
racial discrimination in public facilities.
Shamefully, Democrats fought against anti-lynching laws, and when the Democrats regained control
of Congress in 1892, they passed the Repeal Act of 1894 that overturned civil right laws enacted by
Republicans.

One could safely venture that the majority of Americans are unaware of this history, or, would attribute it to conservatives and/or the Republican Party, proving Churchill’s assertion that “History is writtenby the victors”. The Democrat victory comes in the form of dominance of the academy by its liberal members, who dominate the teaching and journalism professions. This legacy of misinformation will be countered by the efforts of people like Dr. Rice and Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby. If the national Republican Party is serious about winning elections again, it would do well to enlist Dr. Rice as a spokesperson.

Massachusetts,Maggie Thatcher & Niki Tsongas

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

A tip of the cap to Boston Phoenix writer David Bernstein on this one:

Congress passed a res. yesterday for 30th anniv of Thatcher becoming 1st female PM. Mass. delegation all voted no, except Tsongas.

Much of the activity that takes place on the floor of the United States Congress (ditto The US Senate and most political bodies) is irrelevant, trivial pursuit, people looking for ways to justify their existence (and our votes). So let me say before I get into the meat of this post, that I believe that this motion and others like it generally have no place. There are plenty of Constitutionally-mandated duties Congress should follow, and if it did, life in America would be a lot better. Nonetheless, pn May 12,2009, the House Roll Call 245 passed with 339 Ayes, 64 Nays, 24 Abstaining, and 6 Presents. (The vote tally is here.) Had I been a member, I would have abstained or voted present. Of the 64 Nays,  all were Democrats. Of the 174 Democrats who voted Aye, only one came from Massachusetts, not surprisingly, and the vote belonged to the Bay State’s sole female member: Niki Tsongas.  And thus arises the question: why only Tsongas and why Tsongas at all. Presumably she’s no fan of the Iron Lady’s pro-growth fiscal policies (as am I). As such, she would be well within her rights to vote Nay with her Democrat colleagues. Had she chosen to do so, no one would have noticed or cared. Moreover, had the entire delegation voted to Abstain or vote present, no one would have noticed or cared either. Is it possible that male Democrats are hostile to powerful women? Might not Hillary Clinton answer (secretly, off the record), in the affirmative. It’s an open secret that many female Massachusetts Democrats are still miffed at the lack of support shown for Hillary Clinton by their male counterparts. It seems, at least on the surface, that women have no place in the Democrat tent, unless it’s one of subservience. Only one female has won statewide elective office in Massachusetts; for that matter, Tsongas is only the second woman to represent Massachusetts at the Congressional level, after a 25 year drought. How can this be, given the prominence of women in the Democrat Party and the omnipresence of Democrats in Massachusetts. I have no answers for you in this regard, only questions and observations. What doYOU think?

Peggy Joseph – Another Victim of Liberalism (i.e. Crack Cocaine for the Mind)

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

Liberalism is crack cocaine for the mind, and Democrats are the crack dealers. Here’s another victim:

Election 2008 Post-Mortem Analyses

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

My own takeaway is this:  live free or die means more now than ever. John Bolton’s take on the international scene. For good measure, let’s include Madame Albright’s take as well.

Here are some insights from the blogosphere: GOP lost 6,000,000 votes. Why?

Peggy Joseph, poor lass. Liberalism is Crack Cocaine for the mind; the Democrat Party is the Crack Dealer.

The media decline continues led of course, by the New York Times.

Jews and blacks remain among the most loyal supporters of the Crack Dealer (Democrat) Party. Why is beyond me.

More Money Than Sense – Why the “Super-Rich” Love Socialism…

Friday, October 31st, 2008

Comparisons are indeed odious, but need to be made in this case. By Super-Rich, we mean folks lie Warren Buffett, George Soros, and many Wall Street titans. The short-hand term for such individuals: The “More Money Than Sense” crowd.  By Socialists, we mean folks like Democrats, liberals and… Barack H. Obama. This piece is an OUTSTANDING illustration of the dangers these folks pose for the rest of us. It also demonstrates once again that these people are not altruists. In fact, quite the opposite. They are selfish, greedy, and duplicitous.

Democrat Party has been hijacked by subversives.

Friday, October 10th, 2008

In its present day incarnation, the modern day Democrat Party has been hijacked by fanatics. It can no longer claim the heritage of Truman, JFK, Barbara Jordan, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Scoop Jackson, Zell Miller. Instead, the party has been overrun by parasites and subversives and globalists including: ACORN, George Soros, Daily Kos, MoveOn.Org, and heavens know who else. Barack Obama is the face of this “new” subversive wing and he MUST be defeated. Now is the time for all good men and women Patriots to come to the aid and defense of this great Republic! Obama the Face of Social,Economic Chaos

The New and UGLY Face of Left-Wing, Subversive Activism

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

Liberals call themselves progressives because they have learned that to do otherwise is ballot-box poison. The attached article is proof of this fact and more importantly, it constitutes a warning shot across the bow of conservative activists.

Democrats Purport to Support Public Education – Except for Their OWN Children

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

A major chink in the liberal/Democrat armor: their snobbery regarding education. As a party, Democrats are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the teachers unions. They endlessly profess their “support” of public education. However, the facts on the ground are somewhat different when their own children are involved. In that case, the children of said liberals/Democrats almost invariably send their children to…. Private Schools. What a surprise. Sandra Tsing Loh points this out beautifully.

Sarah Palin – Beneficiary of Low Expectations

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

For those inclined to take Republican Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin lightly, Christopher Orr’s New Republic article stands as a sobering read. Sobering to those inclined to dismiss Palin as a lightweight. Suffice it to say that if the same individual was wrapped in a Democrat’s body, the response of the chattering classes would be 180 degrees different. The Bottom LIne here: Annoy the Media; Vote McCain-Palin.
